Heather Fraelick is the owner of The Healing Eclectic that offers in person manual therapy, as well as, virtual healing sessions and workshops.

Heather began her professional life as a dancer performing for various companies and independent choreographers, as well as, teaching and choreographing throughout the Chicagoland area.

Throughout her career, she experienced several dance related injuries that left her unable to perform. As a result, she decided to embark in a new direction and attended the New School for Massage; Bodywork and Healing in Chicago, IL in 2004 to learn about the world of healing. Her time in massage therapy school changed her life, and as a result she chose to dedicate her career to the service of helping others heal.

Now with almost 2 decades of massage therapy experience and over three decades of professional dance and movement education experience, she brings forth an intuitive blend of bodywork modalities to tailor each session to meet her clients’ individual needs.

Staying well connected with the performing arts world, many of Heather’s clients are world renowned dancers, musicians, actors and circus performers. A number of her clients experience chronic pain, neck and shoulder injuries, headaches, low back pain, plantar fasciitis, TMJ Dysfunction and major life transitions.

Heather is a lover of education and regularly participates in continuing workshops to enhance her skills, and is also an active educator throughout the Chicagoland area. Some of her recent teaching experience includes The School of The Art Institute Chicago, The New School For Massage and streamable self-care courses on Fluidify Fascia & Wellness.

After 20 years of personal yoga practice, Heather’s latest venture was completing her 200 hour yoga teacher training with the Chicago Yoga Center. She is currently studying with The School of Movement Medicine and The Power Path School of Shamanism, and looks forward to sharing how her studies with these schools will morph and inform the work with clients in the years to come.
